The best Chinese food in the valley hands down! Shrimp fried rice, chicken chow fun, and chicken with broccoli are always a hit. Hope they could be more generous with the hot mustard, hot oil, etc. they recently moved to ketchup like packets for hot mustard which is pretty sad.

Good food, fast, reasonably price. Great take out place. Used to have dine in and now strictly take out.

This was a delicious meal of sesame chicken and fried rice. I also ordered the spare ribs and wonton soup, which were very tasty. It is a shame that they don't have sit down service at the restaurant because they have nice booths. The cashier was extremely accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Only thing I wish they added was actual sesame seeds to the sesame chicken. Overall, I will return and highly recommend this spot!

Food is excellent. Seems like everyone does take out but they do have a few tables in the restaurant. You arrive and your food is all nicely packaged, and it is insanely good. I recommend the crispy honey shrimp, Mongolian, beef, and how special chicken.

Best Chinese food around this area. We've tried them all and sesame inn is the clear winner. Generally speaking, Chinese food on the east coast is far superior to Southern California. Nothing stacks up but, sesame is as close as we'll get and e we go back often.

Ordered takeout on a Friday night - easy to place and was ready within 20 minutes. We ordered the orange chicken and beef and broccoli - both were flavorful and huge portions. Like that they also came with a sizeable side of steamed rice.

The service was good. I was surprised at how fast I received my order. The food tasted great and I highly recommend the crispy shrimp (yummmm!). During this visit they weren't allowing indoor seating so we ate outside and made it work.

Once again, delicious food, generous portions, quick order turnaround, and delightful people. Couldn't ask for anything more. On a hot summer afternoon, not wanting to heat up the kitchen, we placed a somewhat smaller than usual order: Hot & Sour Soup for Two, Orange Beef (mild). 15 minutes later, I picked up the food at the restaurant. The order was ready exactly when specified, and I was greeted by name as I walked through the door. They'd remembered the specifics of previous orders (we decline the crunchy noodles, condiments, and chopsticks as we have our own) as well. What a nice experience! The restaurant is spotless, as clean as we've ever seen it. They're all prepped for a return to in-restaurant dining, but not quite yet. Looking forward to it.

*** Vegetarian Review *** From what I was told, this place changed ownership a few years ago, but the chefs are the same. My last time here was about 3 years ago and I ordered the same thing. So I can confirm ... the vegetarian egg fu young is prepared exactly the same and I would recommend it. NOTE: Take out and delivery only. No more dining in. Vegetarian Egg Foo Young / Lunch ($11.45, grade A) - I like how they prepare this dish. Almost like little dumplings. Allows for more crunchy outter edges. Egg roll (Grade C) The lunch special comes with a vegetarian egg roll. The egg roll tastes like the frozen ones from Costco. I eat the ones from Costco occasionally, but not preferred when I eat out. Egg Fried Rice (Grade B) The lunch special comes with this as well. It's a small scoop of fried rice. I liked the flavor, but wish the portion was larger. I ran out of rice before I ran out of meal. Bottom line - I do recommend the vegetarian egg foo young. I usually order the full dish and not the lunch special so that's probably a better way to eat this. If you really like texture, ask for the sauce on the side.

For quite some time, this place fell off our radar. No reason for it, but it did. Recently, though, it came back on, and now, we're going almost weekly. Okay, maybe every other week. Not only do we enjoy their food, but we usually get THREE meals out of each order. They serve huge portions, and truth be told, we order A LOT of dishes. So delicious and so much fun !!! Now we're addicted. Please know that while I love Chinese food, I won't eat at 99% of the restaurants. The reason is because I can't trust them with the MSG and/or any other preservative. I CAN trust Sesame Inn, though. Not only do they prepare their food extremely well, but I can trust what they put or don't put in their foods. The proof is in my reaction to it. If there are preservatives, I will know within minutes because I get insane headaches and sometimes fall into a sleep-like trance. Very weird and awful. So if a restaurant puts them in, I WILL KNOW. Sesame Inn is what I call, VERY CLEAN food, and it tastes incredibly delicious. Plus, they give huge portions and lots of each ingredient in each. If they say it has shrimp, there's LOTS of shrimp. If it says pineapple, you'll see loads of pineapple... and that's for all ingredients, no matter what. You get the idea. I think my FAVORITE dishes are: Family Delight - chicken, beef, and shrimp sauteed with broccoli and Chinese pea pods in Mandarin sauce; and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. However, we have also ordered other dishes over the years and usually order the above two and three more from below: Orange Flavor Beef Pineapple Chicken Baby Eggplant and Shrimp in Garlic Sauce Vegetable Fried Rice Chicken Fried Rice Hot and Sour Soup Egg Drop Soup Mongolian Beef Lemon Chicken Beef with Broccoli Chicken Egg Foo Young My husband and I enjoy ALL their dishes. Sesame Inn used to have a small dining area, but I'm guessing that due to Covid, they are now just a takeout/delivery place. SMART MOVE on their part. We love them, and we have to drive pretty far to get their food. What we do for excellence !!!
